I can walk!

Today was a great day, I took my first few steps! There was an Open House at our house in Pittsburgh, so mommy and daddy took me to the Pittsburgh Children's Museum! It was so much fun. There was a nursery for me to play in, then we went to the Waterworks area. I got stripped down to my diaper and then I had to wear this cold yellow rain coat and my shoes. I had fun splashing in the big pools and floor level fountains. At one point, I turned around standing on my own two feet - mommy called for me and I took a couple steps to her! She was so happy and crying - I don't quite understand yet how someone can be happy and crying, but mommy can do anything, including being happy and crying. So, then I went to daddy - he didn't cry, but he was very happy.

I had a nice long nap in the car on the way home from the museum, then had some of mommy's chicken and barley soup for dinner. It was very yummy! Now, I'm watching some Baby Einstein and will probably take a bath soon - hopefully I don't have to wear one of those yellow rain coats again!
